The Wayne Township Fire Department was founded in 1958 and continues to provide volunteer Fire and EMS services today to their supportive Dundee community. Since that time, Wayne Township Fire has grown to around 20 dedicated volunteers who operate their fleet of 5 fire and rescue apparatus, averaging around 150 calls per year. The Wayne Township Fire Department services the town of Dundee and all residents in Wayne Township in Tuscarawas County, Ohio and also provides mutual aid assistance to surrounding fire departments. The members of Wayne Township Fire are committed to providing professional fire and EMS services and are deeply committed to saving lives and protecting property for their home community. Residents of Wayne Township who are interested in serving are invited to submit applications online to join the fire department.
